I love the pics, not all macaws feel comfortable on their backs, I find I really have to work with some of them.

Thanks! It took her a long time to get that comfortable. And she usually only does it when she is alone like that. She will do it when playing with me...very occasionally...but she prefers not to have anyone close to her when she does. It still amazes me every time though.

She is adorable - I loved the 'on the back' shot & her head feathers all ruffled.

I didn't know they would do that at all [lie on their backs] & I am pleased to learn it is a learned response, cause I was feeling kind of dumb.
