Budgies & Toos have Beards - like Winkie & they puff them up until the beak almost disappears. It is so sweet. When they preen the bread can look like a big mustache.
That pic was taken when Winkie was asleep. When I'm talking to Winkie & teaching him to give kisses he fluffs & puts down those beak feathers often.

Yup you are one loved mommy. Manau used to do that.
I am sure Peg's does too, just there are no feathers there lol.
