Please meet Max

Rose Ann went to the StillWater, Mn Bird Show again today.
I always wonder what will come home with her, Last month was
a surprise as nothing came home with her other than seed.
Here she came through the door with Max, Max is 6 years old,
He was kept in a basement most of his life, his feathers and health
are in need of improvement as his diet was mainly peanuts.
He is wonderful, talks up a storm, eats like a horse, he was sooo
thirsty.
He has been cared for by a nice girl for the last year, she said his one
wing is a little smaller than the other, apparently this happened at
birth.
Max loves to be held and cuddled.
I am beating my head against the wall here, trying to figure out
what cage to use and where to place him, he is going to need a lot of sunshine.
Rose spent most of the day with Max, I guess many people held him
and she began to worry that someone would buy him.
Rose Ann has always been afraid of such a large bird, but not Max.

Well Rose and I just finished "the great move".
Carrying these large cages up and down stairs is becoming a nightmare.
Max now has his own cage, he doesn't like it, but time will take care of that.
The bird room has just became smaller, I am sure Rose will swap Andy and Max's cage down the road a piece.
Tucker has been moved out into the living room near Pickles.
Birds Birds Birds.
Soon there won't be any room for Rose and I.

Max is gorgeous and has the best home any birdie could want.

I'm so happy for you Arty!!! He's gorgeous....Maple and Harley say he's welcome to come over and play anytime! Welcome home Max...you could not have found a better one!
