Rose Ann was also saying that there was a M2 with him, that had a cross burned into her chest, and the guy gave him to this lady and said that 'she had to take him or his wife was gonna kill the M2, and that they'd discuss money later....'
how sad, how can they even be so selfish that they only really care about getting their money.

Mac has had his vet exam, xrays were taken of his wing.
Our vet can only guess as this is an old injury.
Apparently Mac's wing was injured and not cared for, Mac began plucking the feathers on the lower half of his wing due to pain.
Now some feathers have come back in, many will never grow back in.
Mac has favored this wing for many years and now the muscles won't allow him to use the wing properly.
There is good news however, Mac loves to show off his beauty, so we get him to spread his wings as often as we can, this will encourage him to use the wing and stretch.
The more stretching, the better.
He is way over weight, he actually has a cleavage, not good.
So Rose Ann has him on a strict diet.
He favors me, steps up very well, but we don't allow our birds to favor here, so Rose is spending more time with Mac, I am spending less time with him, and he is already changing his ways.
The behavior issues will balance out in the long run.
Yes, Mac and the M2 have had a ruff background, I find this very sad, there are good things to consider, at least Mac isn't plucking.
He loves his showers, and he is getting much attention, many toys for him to destroy...LOL
Mac is very verbal, kinda hurts the ears, but very welcomed here in the tropical house.
