Kimba they're the AKC brand Kennels which are electroplated GAW. I got them at Tractor Supply. We bought three of them so we would have enough panels for the tops and bottoms.

It's a Canon Power Shot S5 IS. I think my problem is settings. My pictures are 3000+ X 2000+ pixels. I don't think they should be that big. The book might as well be written in another language. I don't understand what settings I should be using! ARGH!! Any pointers you can throw out there as far as the settings I should try, I would be most appreciative!

The original kennel is a sad thing in comparison to what you did with it! - I wonder if the company has any idea how imaginative some buyers are! How did you figure out the roof? - did you bend the tubing or find an adapter? Putting on a tarp is such a great finishing touch as well. They look quite nice & such an excellent & fun place for your 2 beauties - metal not withstanding [what else of course].

It was purchased, it's a frame and cover that's made to cover the roof for that type of kennel. There's panels (like the ones on the sides) over the top that so they can't reach the frame or tarp.

Missi, Wayne (Bottlebrush) talks a little bit about Electroplating on his site; LINK: Zinc - Electroplating

There is no oxidizing on this type. You can rub your hand over them and never get any white dust. I would love to have Stainless Steel ones like I have for their indoor enclosures but I still consider this type a safe alternative for my guys.

Thanks Karen!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME! After I get my necessities for my house, I'm so getting one then! Thank you SO much for sharing this! I'm excited and I know my fids will be too!

Actually, Karen...do you think the holes would be a safe size for a Patagonian Conure and an Ekkie as well???

I would say NO! They are 2X4. It's an opening size that I would not use without supervision at all times even with my bigger guys.
