I give Boca, Libby and Baby a few peanuts a week for a special treat.
Daily, they all get walnuts or almonds.

The little guys, Quito and Tausi, usually get a half an almond as a treat in the afternoon. Chico gets one or two whole ones.

Four or five times a week with their dinner, I include some chopped Almond or some Pine Nuts. For the little guys, 3 to 5 pieces of Almond, or maybe 5 Pine Nuts. Chico gets a few pieces more.

My two are eating about 1-2 Walnuts and 8 -12 Almonds a day. Kady also gets 3 -4 cashews and 2 or 3 peanuts a day. They both eat a nibble here and there of a pistachio. I'm not sure if this is too much. Kita has been gaining weight steadily and Kady is under weight.

Well, I've been trying to hang tough with Chico since he arrived in an...ahem....portly state. I really have no idea what would be appropriate for Macaws, but my instincts tell me it might be a bit much?

Ollie usually gets around 5 whole almonds a day. I don't put them in her dish though, she gets them as rewards for tricks (or to shut her up when we're trying to watch a movie). So some days she may get 0-2, some days she may get 8. Almonds are the only nut she will eat.

Roxie gets an assortment - I give her one each of brazil, walnut, hazelnut, pecan - and 4 almonds with her dry stuff in the morning, then in the afternoon I give her maybe 3 more. I hide 2 pistachios a day in her foraging bucket.

Dutch usually gets 2 or so a day of them - when she either accidentally drops them, or gives them to him.

This is a fantastic thread, I am always wondering how many nuts to give every day. I give 1-2 walnuts a day, a few almonds, 3-4 peanuts. Sometimes a few more if Jack is sitting there staring at me like "pwitty pwitty pwease, just one more nut" hehehe
I think I might need to cut down a little bit...wouldn't want to start any health issues
