Default Newbie in Washington

Hi, I'm Carol. I will be looking to buy, to adopt, to rescue a macaw in the near future. At this time I'm researching which species of the Macaws I want. I'm leaning toward the BG and the GW. Anyone near Richland Washington? I'm buying a very large cage at the beginning of the month. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Carol and welcome!.

Im so sorry about your daughter. There's an Eastern Washington Parrot Rescue that may be able to help Eastern Washington Parrot Rescue. Rescuing parrots, macaws, cockatoos, conures and all birds ... not sure where Richland is. I have a B&G and Scarlet, Ive never had a GW. In my experience, the B&G's have better temperments and a favorite. Keep in mind, every bird is different, especially when you're dealing with rescues. Big hugs to you for looking for a rescue!!.
