Wow, you cant even see the screws! How did you hide them? We talked about modifications when we built it also. Then when we were done all we talked about was never doing it again!!!

Well when I was wrapping the hoops I used screws to secure the rope at beginning and end. You couldn't see those either. If you screw them in tight enough, the braid will cover them most of the way. I used oval head screws.

It was really tiresome winding the rope but so worth it! Like I said, more to make.

So many of my Licensees are furniture makers. They always have tons of raw scrap outside their shops waiting for disposal or burning. With the winter coming on, I'm going to have to start talking to the woman about making bird toys. That'd be a nice little winter craft that could make them some extra coin. Of course, I'd have to test all the new product lines! hahaha

Josh!

I finally tied sisal rope around all the joints and left long ends to be used for preening, taking the knots apart or adding doodads of choice.

I'm giving the hoopball to Barb of Caraparrots tomorrow.

I'll start the next one once we're home.
