Hey Everyone!

Just a little Maple and Harley update. Yesterday I took them to the vet to have them DNA tested. Should have the results within like 10 days I think. I will post them when I get them. I'll be floored if Maple is not female, but Harley is a mystery!!!

They both weighed in at a healthy 2.4 lbs. Harley struggled so hard he broke off his only current long tail feather. Luckily he has a bunch more coming in....but he's a pretty cute duck butt in the meantime.

You'll notice in the pics of Maple that her eye is a little red. This has only been since just after we got home from the vet. I am wondering if it got rubbed/irratated in the comotion of toweling. Any thoughts? I'll be keeping a close eye on it.

What a cute little duckbutt though! This is going to be a very slow ten days for you, lol! I remember how it was when I was waiting for Ollie's results- painful!

I remember after Ollie's vet trip one eye got irritated. They told me it wouldn't be uncommon for her to have bloody tears (I about passed out at that part)...something about when they get stressed. Maybe they were crazy, but I'll have to look around for some info on that. Anywho...she never cried red and it was all better by the next day.

Oh wow, that sounds crazy Camille. It's just a little pink so I am hoping it's nothing big.

He is an adorable duck butt huh? LOL

As for the results...thankfully....I am working full time now, packing the house up, and getting ready to move on the 11th, so I won't have tooo tooo much time to sit and fret waiting for results....LOL. Time seems to be flying by around here.

Nice photos. Except for the duck butt - I can't tell them apart that easily - I think Harley still looks like a baby face.

Thanks Jac! Harley still does look like a babyface. He's sooo adorable. I love him to death. And since Rob's been away with work for a few weeks, he's become a total Mama's boy!
