everytime I lay down on the couch while Jewel is playing on the tree, she flys down and lands on my chest to snuggle with me and the puppy and watch tv. The actual point of this photo shoot was to try to catch flight shots of her flying down, but every time I put up the camera she would just bob and say hello. The second I turned away, she would land on me.... stinker.. lol

I still got some good shots of her playing around and you can see in a few shes got some tail feathers starting to come in finally!

ah i forgot how cute she was, her little tail is lovely hopefully she can keep it this time

Jewel is looking guuudd' Josh! Those new tail feathers are almost sacred after ya go through the duck butt stage. I see she still has those unique yellow flight feathers.

I'm surprised the plastic chain has held up...mine chomp those up quickly.

I kind of liked her duck butt - but I'm sure her long tail will be beautiful.

Soon her duckie butt will be a thing of the past.. she is growing up and wants to have a beautiful tail to wiggle for the boys.

She is gorgeous Josh. But hey, you all know I have a soft spot for her...well...any B&G really...lol. They are just too cute for words.

Bring her over...Maple will teach her how to take care of that tail...she's so vain my Maple lol.

As a few month old, she played rough and landed on them, played with them and didnt preen them, and they came right off.

Oh my! LOL poor baby.. macaws are so weird. Here is hoping she keeps her new booty
