Re: Jewel It always takes them a while, usually a couple of years, to learn how to take care of those tail feathers. The first go round is always the worst so hopefully this time will be better. I have a ruby that had destroyed all it's long tail feathers by it's first hatchday. Five months later now and the one's that have come back in are still in good shape so I'm hoping the worst of the feather destruction is over. If they break them from playing hard and rough then what can ya say... |
