Thanks everyone...we are both feeling much better this morning. Hubby comes home tonight so I am REALLY looking forward to that. Hopefully today will be better...thankfully neither of us seem to be holding a grudge...LOL.
Hang in there Kris. I know it's hard now, but it will all pass. As Rob said, a date is only numbers. Think of something really fun or special to do when hubby gets home. The date won't make a difference.
As far as the bite, well we've all been there. The first time I was bitten, I cried and looked at Ryan like how could you do that to me!?! But you can't take it personally!
Thanks Wendy, he'll be home tonight and we'll go out to celebrate this weekend. I don't do alone well at the best of times...lol....probably wasn't the best idea to marry a military man then (joking)!!
As far as Maple, I KNOW not to take it personally....heck I am her favorite human....but in the moment your HEART always tells you something different. She called for me this morning, and we had a little snuggle alone before she joined Harley in the living room. I think we are good now. I only have 1 child today, so things should be calmer around here, hopefully that'll help her relax a little. I am really looking forward to moving now, so they can have their own room and escape the madness of the house when it becomes too much for them.
Thanks so much everyone for all your kind words. It really helps! Yesterday was tough!
even though we know bites aren't personal, it can still hurt feelings anyway. especially when stress is already piling up, that can just cause the pile to topple. hang in there babe, it's friday now! much love <3
It is so hard when the ones we love are not there to support us when we need them the most. I know you are doing your best as you always do with the fids. Just keep the end of next week in mind then Rob will be back and everything will settle down to a dull roar. I know spending your wedding anniversary alone is never fun so plan something for the two of you when he gets home it will give you something to look forward to you deserve it. I know Rob is missing you and the fids as much as you guys miss him. Take a deep breath tomorrow will be better.
Rob is on the way home...actually he should be here in about 1/2 an hour. I can't wait! Then only one more week to get through!
Maple has been back to her normal self today, a total sweetie to Mom. I am taking them both on Monday to have them DNA'd. I can't wait to find out for sure what they are. I was told Maple is a sexed female but I want it on paper. Harley...no idea at all....hoping he's a boy.
It was really nice to get paid today...that cheered me up! I know it sounds funny, but the last couple of years have been kinda crazy for us so I didn't work...it's a nice feeling to be contributing again.
I am in a much better mood today....but I have another hard week ahead...lol. Thanks everyone for cheering me up! You guys are awesome!!!!
Oh...ya and the finger...sore and achy...but none the worse for wear!
Happy anniversary and maybe when you hubby gets home for a while you can celebrate it properly. I know how it is celebrating stuff like that from distance and it is not very fun. So cher up and just think about later when you can celebrate it. Maybe your bird is just stressed out. who knows with them lol. I know with the animals we do have, they can be a bit mischievious and try to get your attention, if they think you are paying attention to something else for to long. I mean I cant tell you how many times my cat scratches me to get my attention either when I am watching tv or on the computer typing. ~Jenna
