I agree Irish she's got to be one of the most beautiful birds I've seen. I always thought Maxie was an Emerald though, a Buffons/Hyacinth.

You could be right, Karen. I thought I "heard" him say, once, that she was a HyXMili. I could very well be wrong. Whatever she is, she's about the most gorgeous macaw, hybrid or not, on the face of the planet! I have a bit of "Maxie Envy" going on here :-).

Thanks. I agree. I think all Hybrids are much more beautiful and colorful than their parents.
