My findings are telling me there is no such species as a Bolivian Macaw, however there are B&G Macaws from Bolivia, The following site supports what has already been said, these breeder’s needs to rethink his/her words, the B&G Macaws they offer may be Macaws that have originated from Bolivia, however these birds are (simply put) B&G Macaws, they are not a HyBrid of Macaw.

No wonder folks are being confused by this issue, Bigger seems to be supported as being a special breed of B&G, I am sure there are a few breeders here on AI that have saw some of there young ones that are larger than others…Geeez.

Don’t fall for this Scam, The Bolivian Macaw is just a Macaw, if you think you are getting a Bigger bird, a more colorful bird, A Hybrid so to speak then you are being scammed by breeders that are trying to get more money for there birds.
I have a Blue Jay here, He is from Texas, we all know things are bigger in Texas, I will sell him to you for just a little more than the other Blue jay I have here from Minnesota, He is a little larger and more colorful….but he is still just a Blue Jay…Sooooo, any takers?

Arty, I am going to Tambopata in July, which is pretty close to Bolivia. I'll see if there is any difference in real Bolivian macaws.

Apparently, they're darker than regular Blue & Golds, but still just as pretty.
