Your very welcomed Jenn,
It looks like its molt time or the little one on the right could be a female as the male will peck at the female head to encourage mating, there's many things that could be happening but I see a feather issue.
Do these birds enjoy to bathe?
A misting or maybe a large bowl of water?
They sure are pretty.
As we spoke we eliminated the wing being dislocated or broken, this is very good.
I asked you to wash the wing, you were able to see the issue more clearly, "Great Job", by both you and your mate.
The wounds are cleaned, as I mentioned I use Dawn dish soap here and rinse very well.
You now see the problem, keep applying Neosporin, to cover the entire injury.
We want to see scabbing, "the healing process", the sooner the better.
Your little friend may pick at the wound, keep an eye on him/her.
If needed add neosporin daily, If the wound continues to appear clean and healing with no irritation, (reddening) (discoloration) I would not wash anymore and continue applying Neosporin (lightly).
The wound also needs air, so apply the neosporin lightly.
Please understand, I am not a Vet, I have taken many classes and treat the birds that come to me myself, if the injury is determined to "not heal properly" I take the little one to our vet.
You are doing a great job, My hat is off to you and your mate.
Keep a close eye on the wound, if you see the wound is not healing properly, set up a vet appointment.
Please keep us informed.
