Default Escape Artist

I apparently have my very own escape artist! My lovely little Chipper-Choo decided that her cage is not where she wants to be. Despite there being toys, food, etc, she just decided she wanted a bigger cages, I guess I have everything secure and I don't think she can get out through the cage bars. Any ideas?

You can't tell how she's getting out?? That's pretty funny (and scary!)! Maybe she is fitting through the bars??

Don't these little guys keep us on our toes,LOL!!! I'm curious though, is the cage that's in the picture of Chipper, the same one he's in now??? If so, it seems to me that he couldn't sneak through the bars, but nothing is impossible with these little guy's. I always worry the my GCC Peek-a-Boo will do the same thing, that little monkey of mine is to smart for his own good,LOL!

It is very funny, I have to admit. I think I might should set up a video camera to see just how she's escaping...

Judy, this is a different cage. The one in that picture had 2 bars that I found to have broken from the welding so I moved her into a new one. It has the same bar spacing though... I put a towel over her cage, clipped the door and seed doors shut and what do you know, she's out again! However, the good thing about this is that she seems to want to be out and be with you, not just be out

Thanks Camille and Judy, I'll let you know as soon as I find out what's going on

Does the cage have a bottom grid? She could be lifting it and crawling under it to the front of the cage to get out. My parakeets do this but in reverse getting into the canaries cages to steal their seed.

It does, but it can't be lifted from the inside. I think she's gettoing out through the bars. As soon as my grandmother gets back, I'm going to get her regular cage (nice, sturdy and escape proof). The thing that worries me is her getting into one of the fids cages again...
