Arty, Francine sent you an email today! 1 little guy just flew away today. The other two...not such good news. She tried putting them outside in a cage to get acclimated to the outside. In minutes, a feral cat managed to reach in and get one. The other went into shock and passed a few days later. Needless to say we are sick over it.

Arty out in the country where my friends live there is a white starling, at least thats what we think it is as it swarms with the others.
cannot get close enough to see the eyes as it is very flighty like most of them.

My friend is trying to get a picture of it so i can post.
do they have albinos or are they called something else.??

Leigh, wasn't planing on these kind of tears.
Maybe your sister can help wildlife, its easy to build a live animal trap, its easy to bait the trap with canned cat food.
When getting a cat trapped you will be saving 3-4 lives per day, call the authorities to come and get the cat.
If ya get a wild animal...simply set him/her free.
I can't express the need to help, oh I know, what if the cat is put down?, what about all those that are being put down by the cat while at large...
If there is a place nearby that is a no-kill facility, maybe the animal could be taken there, but folks need to help get them off the streets.
How very sad!

An albino Starling...wow...yes thats what they would be called and extremely rare.
Not far from here I seen 2 albino squirrels...
That has to be a site to see, hope you get some pictures.

I love animals, but I have no issue with trapping a wild cat and sending it to the shelter. Ive done it many times. She is not much of a cat fan either. It was a complete fluke. It happened so fast. She was so upset, and I felt so bad. She planned to try to let them eat from the ground with the cage over them, a few times so they could learn to forage. She worked so hard to be sure these little ones were safe. So when she put them out in the cage to get air, it was on her front step! I suggested she try to trap the cat but Im not sure what happened. Little Arny flew away beautifully today. She did a great job.

Arnie flies free.
Francine just sent me this link.
YouTube - Arnie's Freedom Flight

Fly free Arnie, I pray for your survival.

Thank you Francine.

Just a friendly reminder,
The cards are stacked against wildlife, they are loosing the battle to live in a world that used to belong to them (FIRST).
Now mankind and his and her progress is destroying there world.
Programs such as TNR and others may work for the Cat, these programs fail wildlife on such a large scale, the numbers are to many to mention.
Please do not support any program such as TNR and others that return the cats to the wild.
Support the "Keep Cats Indoors Act".
Buy or make a live animal trap and catch the stray cat, call the authorities to come and get the animal, or if there's a no kill shelter near you, take the animal there, but please, help wildlife and get these animals off the streets.
When a new law comes along that places a heavier fine unto those that allow there cats or dogs (any pet) to roam freely, sign and support the bill.

Hi Arty, I will miss Arnie, I didn't want to release him yet but my husband kept nagging me. As I sit here typing this response I am thinking "where is he going to sleep tonight". He had his little cage that he was so comfy in, I feel bad that he's out there and I don't know where. I hate my husband!!!!! I would have kept him, but then again, would that have been fair to keep him caged. I agree with you about the cat situation, ferals need to be dealt with. I don't hate cats, I just don't like them. The people feed them which makes them produce even more, I am going to call the animal shelter and report the situation. I feel bad for the cats also though, they are only doing what is natural for them since they are feral and starving. It's a bad situation for everybody, cats, wildlife and people.
