Pp Returns

Last year I rehabbed a 5 week old baby grey Squirrel, I named him PP.
Part of keeping a baby squirrel alive is bowel stimulation, so PP would always PeePee all over me.
He grew fast and was released, however I errored alittle and made him a nesting box, the winter was coming and I wanted to make sure he stayed warm, Soooooo I filled his box with fleece, Long story short, spring time came and PP stopped coming home for his feedings and or treats, for 10 months I called for him but finally gave up.
Well HES BACK, and I am so pleased, here's a few shots I took today.

Here's some of PP friends, there's 17 I counted all together that come here daily to eat and drink, plus Doves and Ducks and all kinds of little ones.

This has been one very exciting morning for me.

Arty, what great pictures and I'm glad PP finally came back for a visit.

I enjoy having the squirrels come here also. At the feeder we have the occasional birds flying in but for the most part the daily regulars are a pair of doves, chipmunks, squirrels and nightly 3 raccoons visit to empty out the daily fare.

arty, that's soo cute that PP came for a visit... that would make everybody's day, makes you feel special....

we have plenty of squirrels on campus, and i enjoy them racing all over the place

That's so wonderful Arty! I can't even imagine how you felt when you saw him again for the first time. I'm glad he came back to visit!

Digging up bones, I dug deep and found PP's rehab pictures, such fond memories, when I first released him he went up and over the neighbors fence, I didn't see him for days..many many tears fell, then oneday I came home from work and found my shop all torn up, then my eyes caught a squirrel on the workbench, I thought the little one was a wild squirrel as he was colored differently, well it was PP and he was covered in ashes from coming down the wood stove stack...LOL
He jumped up on me and said "I'm Hungry".
