Maybe just maybe this little injured squirrel has earned sympathy from others and has learned to get near....
When PP was old enough I placed him into one of our spare cages and fed him through the bars, I followed everything I was trained on but one item, the proper release, He was sooooo young and winter was coming fast...
I filled his nesting box with fleece and fed and watered him everyday....
He was free to come and go as he pleased however I continued to care for him.....I can only pray that this doesn't become his downfall...
With birds, Pigeons I have to handle them to feed properly, tube feeding takes a certain Touch, as well as syringe...
Many that I have released land in a near by tree and look at me as if to say..."okay...now what?"
Pigeons I release near other flocks of Pigeons, wild birds are released in a wooded area away from humans....
I am pleased your new little friend is doing well, you shine within my eyes..
Please know you are special to me for all you do for the animals that call upon you...
If ya need me....I am here... |
