We have more than usual this year also. In the front of the house we have up lighting. And you can see in the light beams, webs from the ground to the trees with spiders in them. Its kinda cool!

that is a cool looking arachnid. But after learning any spider bite can kill my fids I kind of changed my tune about spiders in the house.

My 'rents sometimes get these HUGE spiders outside. They live near Leigh, so it's some kind of Pinelands Spider Cult :lol

I'm not afraid of spiders from a distance but the thought of one dropping onto my head... UCK!

That crab spider is quite different than anything I've ever laid eyes on, though! Really quite pretty.

SO....I was reading through my animal book last night before bed, and I happened to be in the invertebrates section and saw a photo of one of her relatives...she is a crab spider and they are able to change color! From white to yellow to green!

Actually "she" may be a "he" because females are MUCH more larger than males. "She" looks like the male in the photograph.
