any suggestions. If i am able to post please let me know and I will post the address from webshots. these birds are in the middle of Vernon. th3 houses around them cannot infringe on their breeding grounds. trees cannot be cut down. you name it.. they are fully protected. Just thought you might be interested..

Beautiful. I see heron each and every day.

I love Herons! We see quite a few fishing the streams in the area, but I've never found rookeries. Herons used to be routinely shot by the "sportsmen" around here because they eat fish, and it probably still happens some. Hopefully they will eventually be educated (or caught shooting one).
