Default Bald Eagle sighting, sorry no pics :(

Coming home from work today, I saw a Fox carcass on the highway ahead with some birds around it. As I got closer and they flew, it turned out to be two Ravens and a gorgeous Bald Eagle. Of course no camera (as usual) but I got a good look at him taking off anyway. It was interesting in that Ravens and Eagles normally don't get along, but these guys must have declared a truce due to the extreme cold and hunger, and seemed to be sharing the carcass amicably! As I passed by, the Eagle landed in a tree beside the highway. When I looked back in my rearview, I could see that they had already flown back to the carcass and were eating again.

I think they are amazing animals. I'd love to see one myself.

Oh sure, go ahead and tease us and then not take pictures, great, just great I say, lol
Here's a couple that I had on my 'puter and found ... somewhere on the net. The first one looks to still be a fairly young one.

They are truly glorious creatures aren't they?

I try to take my camera with me wherever I go just in case, lol.
If it moves ... Shoot it with a Canon, lol or in my case Nikon.
