I usually do Arty. Theres a whole litter. This one is maybe 12 weeks old that has been coming around. I saw the whole litter at the other end of my development last week and thought maybe they would stay over there by the ponds where there lots of frogs. ANimal Control is giving me a hard time. Theres a waiting list for cages to be set. I may invest in my own. I have 1 bright white fish that has mysteriously disappeared and Im very upset. I wondering if its that cat!

You can find (have a heart) live traps at most Home Depots.
The traps are also easy to build.
I have done extensive studies on feral populations through out the USA, I found some very radical groups that Hate cats period, I found these sites to be very (disturbing).
I have also found many (animal rights) groups protest against the capture or shooting of feral cats, then when asked to take a feral in and care for him/her, they get up and walk away.
If your gonna talk the talk then walk the walk.
If every (pro life) person would agree to help capture and take in a stray cat (for life) and care for him/her, we could come so very close to solving this issue, but the truth is (they want to be heard) but then turn there backs and walk away.
"I will do everything I can to stop any harm coming to the feral population", "but if I am to participate by taking a feral in then I want know part of it"....I FIND THIS EXTREMELY SHALLOW.
Up here in Minnesota, (in rural areas) its legal to shoot stray cats, Wisconsin and Michigan are going to submit to law makers again very soon ( a new law that makes it legal to shoot stray cats).
Folks just don't get it....There's a serious issue here!
This is by all means a man made plague, Now our natural predators are starving, and (bird lovers) hear my words, thousands of Song Birds are being killed each and everyday.
On many islands where cats have been introduced 33 species of birds are now gone for forever.
Many species of birds are now on the endangered list due to this little menace right here in the USA.
Then (pro life) groups such as TNR continue to help the feline continue there slaughter on birds and small animals.
Sooner "I hope" than later, people are going to begin to hear the cries (of the many) rather than the few, and new stricter laws will be placed unto cat ownership.
Is your neighbors cat roaming around, maybe stalking wildlife on your property?
If so.....catch the animal, take the little one home, knock on the door, say politely "is this your pet?", "I don't want your pet on my property stalking and killing wildlife".
"if your cat comes onto my property again, I will call the authorities and press charges against you!".

Currently, laws concerning this issue are failing, our tax dollars to keep animal shelters up and running are only keeping the horrors done unto the feline and wildlife going.
When we good people see abuse, do we not do our best to stop it?
There are current battles in many states concerning this issue, if anything.....this is a wake up call......this issue has become way out of control....
Cat owners.....this is your wake up call!
Keep your cat indoors at all times.

I think we have so many because of the golf course. It makes a great place for them to hunt and stay fat. I think Ill look into a trap at Home Dept and keep it. How much are they Arty? Our municipality is a real joke. For $10,000 a year of prop tax, all I get is trash pick up and thats late most of the time. Our police force is short handed. I just get fired up. Its probably best for me to keep my own trap to protect my fish and wild friends. My garden qualifies as a habit. So that tells you how much we have living here.
