I would like to know what people offer their ekkies to eat all day if they work outside the house and cant really cater to a fully fresh diet. How can you be sure they are getting enough nourishment? Id switch to a no pellet diet if I knew what I could keep in his cage full time for snacking. He gets fed 1 fresh meal a day at lunch time and nuts as an evening snack. Custom Blend #7 which has everything under the sun except dyed pellets and sunflower seeds in it is what he has in his cage at all times. Would the blend minus the pellet be enough in additional to a fresh meal?

that custom blend #7 looks like pretty good stuff too! As I live in a very moderate climate I get away with leaving the mash out from morning until evening when I give them their sprouts.
