OK. This is a follow up question from the toe tapping issue.

Since I have seen toe tapping with my ekkie, I am not planning on giving him pellets which I usually do because he likes it and he forage on it while I am at work.

So what do you guys leave your ekkie with to forage on while you're at work?

I use the Volkman ekkie blend and mix it with Goldenfeast Tropical Blend ll. they get lots of fresh fruits and veggies in the morning and I remove the bowls around 11am, their snack dishes stay in all day and are changed at night.

My ekkie gets the same as all my other psittaforms: gloop and a different veggie, fruit and leafy green every day of the week. For dinner, he gets a very small piece of birdy bread (not all the time and it's about 1.5 sq. in. in size -I bake it myself) and less than 1/8 of a cup of a pellet/seed mix (the others get less than 1/4 of a cup and no bread) but, so far, he hasn't eaten the pellets, only the seeds.
