I think Ill give it a try! Thank you!! With my ekkie though, I think the issue is partially regurgitation. He humps and pukes on everything. He was on Johns shoulder last week, grinding away. Then he leans forward to his ear and produced this..this...cocoon like think all covered in slime and neatly placed it in his hand. It was so gross! John said "ewwwww this really stinks! Wanna smell it?" I said "uhhhh...NO!" It was LOVE puke! lol..

Yep last summer Jerry would have a "stench" sometimes and I finally realized it was his breath because he was regurging on his bell.

I've never heard of fennel. I'm googling it right now. Can it be found at Walmart? Or Dillons...? That's all we have 'round these parts.

I thought I read somewhere that garlic should be avoided. Is it safe?

As I recall onions were mentioned to be strictly avoided. I'm not sure about garlic - they use it to flavor Beak Appetit I know.

Ruby likes fennel too and my Max (pionus) would get the whole bulb and stalks sometimes for a treat. It seemed like it affected him like catnip to a cat.

WHole Garlic is actualy extreamly benifical for parrots, BTW is it extreamly helpful for Ekkies!

Fennel is aviable in most grocery store, in the greens section with the cerely and carrots.
