Usually she's pretty good. We're still working on step up, which she's not so goodat yet, but we'll get there!

I think the "ekkie's are not cuddly" does not hold up very well. You guys have said yours are cuddly, and I had one attached to my shoulder at a bird foster home, who LOVED to be cuddled and pet all over. She did nip me pretty good though in the end but that was because she didn't want me to put her away...so that's not so bad lol

I can't wait to see her feathers over time, she is beautiful now and would still be if she didn't change, but if she grew her feathers back in, she would be quite the looker!

I've heard tales of older Ekkie hens being cuddly. Its probably the Vos coming out in her!! Sure glad to hear Lucy is doing good.

Yea, she's very Vos acting, especially with the talking thing- she and Echo will have hour long 'conversations'. However, you can see the red sided in her to. She definatly has that diva-like personality! I am so happy I went with an adult. She fits perfect in our family and we are all calling her Princess Lucy, lol!

Shane, the 'ekkies have soft beaks; they an barely open a peanut' thing doesn't hold up well either! If she can open an almond in a few seconds, I think she can open a peanut! Besides, a few months ago, I got hambuger hands from a young female ekkie---I bled every time she bit me! Now, I don't think they have that soft of beaks!
