Male Eclectus Needs Home

Someone on CL has a young male eclectus for $800 or trade for boating stuff. I would love to take him and might until I find a good home (guy said he could work something out if he goes to a home with other birds, poor guy gets lonely). He comes with a nice big cage.

I have a lve hate feeling about it. I love it because without it, I would heve neither Lucy or Echo (and possibly this new guy

If I may ask...did you get all your guys for free from CL ? Cause some of the adoption fees on their are crazy..But I'm glad you have all of the babies you do and this new greenie !!

Both Echo and Lucy I got from CL. Harley was bought at a bird show. Althought some of the adpotion fees there are insane, most of the people there aren't very bird-knowledgable. I figure that is doesn't matter where they're from. Birds are birds; you can get them from a rescue or a breeder, but you'll still get a wonderful baby...

Well, I've made numerous attempts to try and contact the owner, but apparently, he wants nothing to do with my offer. I'm sorry, but $800 or even $600 is just too much for a bird that's going to need vet care. NTM, I don't even know if I want to get a male b/c of Lucy...Hopefully, he'll find a good home though. It's just not with me

Oh golly... Right after I posted I checked my email, he emailed me with more pics. I'm really stuck between a rock and a hard place. I really don't need another bird... So, I'm going to sit on it for a couple days...

lol...Dom I dont mean to laugh but, you have the word "sucker" etched on your forehead I'll bet cause I know its tattoo'd on mine,I can just tell lol. I get sucked in and then I end up making an exception for just one more...lol (cat,bird,dog,rabbit,lol)
