#4 | | | Re: Lucy's Feathers Tada! Here's some I snapped this afternoon. As you can see, she's got some new feathers comming in! Her chest is really filling out with purple. Her neck isn't growing in as quickly, however, there are a few tiny pin feathers.
The second pic is of her back. She's not too good about grooming, but there's also a lot of new growth there.
Like I said, its a long process. You don't just deal with plucking like you would deal with wing clipping. I've left Lucy fully flighted and though not often, she does enjoy hopping from one perch to the other and flapping her wings, which has seemed to make her very happy. Good diet, lots of excersize and quality people time have certainly transformed her from the shy, inverted bird she was when we got her to and talkative, cuddly, active diva who is absolutly perfect! |

Does she say words? what kind of stuff does she say? and what ever happened with the greenie your were goin to rehome? did I miss an update? | The male ekkie...I still want him, however, the guy wants way too much for a bird that will need med care, cage, etc.. Plus, I worry as to how Lucy would react, though I'm sure she'd be fine. I still would love to have him, but I can't afford that much. |
