Default Having Success

Well, its been a few days since Lucy's had any seed or egg. Already I am noticing that she's doing so much better! She's got some purple feathers growing on her belly and she hasn't barbed them off! There's even some new red ones! I'm only really noticing growth on her chest, but I suppose her back feathers will grow in eventually. Here's ehat I've been doing:
*No Egg
*No seed
*No peanuts
*More beans and rice
*Cornmeal pancakes w/ mixed berries (frozen) and corn
*Lots of fresh (which she was already getting)
*Calcium supplement

Glad to hear this Dom, it's great news!! Just curious, have you noticed any toe-tapping or wing-flipping behavior with her? As I understand it, that's a fairly common affliction with Ekkies, and is often attributed to food sensitivities.

Thanks!

I was really looking for the toe tapping and wing flipping, since it is so common and I would think that it would occur before plucking. However, I havn't noticed anything. I'm keeping my eyes open, not writing anything off. Hopefully, we'll just keep on this path and keep improving.

BTW- I got some pictures
