Today was a very good day! Lucy was giving me these eyes like she really wanted to come out. I have never reached inside and gotten her out with my hand (I know that's so bad) just because she's always been a little territorial around her food dishes. Well, there was juse some spontanious thing that made me think that she wouldn't bite me, and even if she did, it wouldn't hurt that bad. Well, I reached inside and she immediatly stepped up on my hand! I was so proud of her! She has the sweetest personality! I am just so proud of her!

If ya want some practice, come stick your hand in for the pink shark monster! lol..he'll teach ya!!!

I am excited for you both. It reminds me of the first time I got enough nerve to hold on of our friends macaws. I basicaly just took a chance and was like whats the worst that could happen I already had a scar from the other macaw they had so what that again. I lived through the bite from the last time. When I held her I was scared up until she was trying to cuddle with me then I realized she isnt so bad. Now the other macaw that bit me lol I still wouldnt go near it If my life depended on it. ~Jenna
