I don't know if I've mentioned Lucy on here or not, but Lucy is another pet of our but a little more on the wild side.

Lucy is our backyard squirrel that I've been feeding for over two years now. I've seen her pregnant twice and often think I've seen her babies running around the yard, but Lucy is the only one that we feed. I know it's Lucy because she has a beautiful shiny coat, a little on the "fuller" side, her tail is very bushy and full, and she's the only squirrel that will walk right up to me, my husband or my dog. When I'm sitting at the back patio she'll come over and climb my jeans and sit on my lap waiting for her nut. That I don't do much anymore because I'm afraid of passing a disease on to my birds.

But every morning Lucy will greet us at our kitchen window and will sit and stare in the window until we toss out some nuts to her. This video is of Rico on my countertop when he looks over and sees Lucy in the window. Enjoy!

So adorable! I'm shocked Lucy didn't run away. Guess she knows a good "restaurant" when she sees one! Always enjoy your videos.

Glad you liked it, Kathie. Lucy's so used to me, Freddie, my dog Corbin and all the birds. The birds don't even phase her. But you go outside of that group of people and critters, she's very nervous. She's a good girl and I'll miss her if we move.

My fav part is that all you can see from the back is what I call God's Kiss Spot on the top of his head!
