That was precious. Nelly has a squirrel that hops up on the window sill right by her cage and stares in the window at her. I've even seen him scratching at the screen. When she sees him she does the same thing as Rico with the wings etc. The squirrel just looks at her as if to say..."and your problem is what?" Unlike Rico she lets out a god awful screech every time.

Funny you should say that, Diane. Lucy, the squirrel is not afraid of the birds and when I have them outside, she will walk right up to them and hop up on their chairs if I let her. I usually have to shoo her off.

Rico's cage sits in a position where he can see out a window if he wants. He looks into my neighbor's backyard. One of the squirrels will jump up onto her bird feeder and hang upside down trying to get to the seed. Rico will scream his full blown head off. The site of the squirrel on the bird feeder just freaks him out.

Oh my gosh. . . that is tooo funny. Poor Rico doesn't like that "furry critter."

Hi Mamalovesrico.....such a cute video!....You name and feed the squirrels too? My Peanut (squirrel) climbs up the screen on my befroom window looking for peanuts every morning...so I go out with a bag, and low and behold he has all his friends out there too! A bag of fresh raw peanuts from Walmart last me 3 days! Plus they eat all the seed from my birdfeeder!
