I wonder what ever happened to it. I have never read anything after them finding it and putting it up for sale.

I'm sorry but I ave a hard time believing this story. I've seen the pic for years now, and it is funny.... you would think that it would be world news, not just in a local bird clubs magazine. I would think the AFA would be all over it, or the SCA. Not to mention local and national papers and news.

Or at the very least updates on the bird, or other hatching's, or even infertile eggs...something. To me it is a case of photo shop gone crazy.

I was a bit skeptical at first too, but after seeing the photo I am convinced that this is either a miraculous hybrid or an amazing photoshopper!

when it first was known about here in australia there was a video a bird group took of it.will look around to see if i can find it.i always felt sorry for the tiel cause she layed a galah egg lol.by the way im new here and have a male and female galah and a egg laying tiel . dont worry no chance a of a galatiel here lol. they dont get along at all.i couldnt believe she also kept them together cause one bite from the galah and it could be no more tiel.
