Large Cockatoo, native to Australia.
Size......From head to tail feather up to 45cm
Feathers... White with Yellow crest feathers and yellow markings on cheeks.
Lifespan...In the wild 25 years. In captivity up to 40 years or more.
Speech....Up to 50 words mimicked, no cognitive recognition.
Diet.....Native tree nuts, grasses and fruits.

Great family bird if raised from the nest. Can be very noisy. Adapts normally to one owner. Does not like change. Can fret to the point of death.

A great interactive bird but takes a lot of general daily care. Very messy and demanding. Not a bird for a beginner if it is to be kept happy and healthy.

For the advanced owner...Antics, hilarious. Speech, uncanny at times.
Very affectionate and loving bird. Crest expression is enormous, tilts head to relay emotion and intelligence.
