Default Spray Showers

Maryland recently had a 50% increase in the cost of electric, so as most other Marylanders, I am doing everything I can to cut back on electric use. I bumped my thermostat up to 74 degrees, but when I got home yesterday, it was 80 degrees in the house - over 100 outside. The bird room was warm, so I decided to give them a spray. Well, everyone was up to it, so I went through several refills of the spray bottle, my floor was soaked, all the papers in the cages were soaked, and the birds were soaked, and they all enjoyed the impromptu shower very much!

Shane - he loved it! He spread his one and only wing as far as it would go, and raised his crest and swung back and forth and screamed and yelled !
