Default some cockatoos in Australia

My best friend and I spent almost a month in Australia- it was INCREDIBLE to say that least.. On our first weekend there we saw TONS of cockatoos... Here are a few we came across playing in a school yard. They were flipping twigs, rustling with each other, having a wonderful time...

WOW, a month in Australia!! That had to be awesome. That's something I dream of doing. I have always been in awe when I see pictures of their wild Cockatoos, Budgies and Lories.

It wasn't until I watched the 'Parrots in the Land of Oz' Documentary that I could really appreciate just how many there are.

That was a great documentary but I still think seeing them out in the wild is a different experience. We spent two weeks in Brazil viewing the Hyacinths and Greenwings.

Great photo Doreen.
