I ran across some of those at the last show I went to here in the area.

They are there every year so far and are impressive to say the least. But both of them are pluckers as you can see.

I too hope that you fine folks will get this most awesome bird, you'll be in for a trip that's for sure.

1st - Wow what a fabulous drawing - how can this thread get any better!

2nd - How many of these birds are circulating - & all in the same area - same breeder?
Why are they plucking? - same issues as all the big Too's??

Genetic? Diet? Environment? Socialization?

Should they be kept in large Aviary/zoo-like settings only???

Oh No!
(Hi Maryann)
I held that bird on Friday afternoon and didn't want to part with him. He curled up in my arm and said "I love you"...I MELTED!
Tried to convince my husband to remortgage the house. That didn't work. Then I thought I could go back to work there for him... but that would take at least a century or so. Oh well. I can dream can't I?

Anyone who gets this guy will have snatched up a small piece of heaven.

If it's you Maryann, can I please come to visit? http://www.parrotchatter.com/images/...s/smilies2.gif
