Your bird is a beauty - but poor sweet Peggie has PBFD & is quite ill. Sue would love to have her look like yours. Peggy is out most of the time & is with her rescuer most of the time.

I am sorry that you felt the need to jump down my throat and lecture me.
That is very sad, for it is people like yourself that I am trying to educate.
Apart from the fact that Peggy has Pbfd, if you looked at the pictures you would have seen she is not in the cage during the day at all. She has to have somewhere warm of a night time though.

Please next time don't jump on me, I am sensitive enough about my PBFD birds, this only upsets me more.

Oh Peggy gets plenty of fresh fruit daily. She is definitely not a feather plucker. She will never have feathers and never fly. If you read about PBFD you will learn she is actually dying.

I am sure Donnaluvsabi is trying to help, but wasn't aware of our sweet Peggy's illness.

This I realize, but unfortunately I have been jumped on many times by people that just don't take the time to read all that is on a post, including signatures and I am pretty sure my sig is very CLEAR at the moment. A reason why I did that. Also before the post was made by Donna.
I have copped it from many forums, hence my hesitancy and constant whinging I guess about my birds on here.

People just don't take the time to read fully, to understand, they go looking on a forum for an opportunity to jump on someone and normally it happens to be me. I am used to it.

They see a bird with no feathers, it is either a plucker or has a disease and I am wrong no matter what for keeping the bird.

Hope you all understand a little more now why I am the way I am when I post on this or any forum.

As much as I am expected to understand Donna, I expect her to come back and understand me. I sent a pm to her. I am yet to receive a reply. Till then I have lost any personal respect for her. Sorry, I gotta be hard, living with PBFD birds is hard.

A quick note about signatures - there's an option to not view signatures, and it's a feature that I sometimes use because a lot of times I'm viewing PC at work and the signature pictures attract a lot more attention if someone is near my computer. So it's very possible that some people have chosen not to view signatures and would, therefore, not see any links or information in the signature.

be like for you. It must be really hard emotionally for you.
