Hi, my name is Hedwig and Im a 12 yr old Goffins. I love to sing and dance, Im the clown of the family!.



My name is Sam, Im a 5 yr old Umbrella. Im a snuggler and love my mom, but Im also unpredictable and I love to scream LOL.



Hi, Im Cookie!. Im a 5 yr old Moluccan. I was suppose to be a breeder and was never handled like I should've been. Im now at the point where I will let you scritch, but do not try to handle me because I am very afraid. I also chew my wing and tail feathers, but my mom says Im very sweet and beautiful. I am bonded with Sam ... he so handsome!.

they are all adorable. i am so happy that you have taken them in to love and care for. there are so many homeless cockatoos out there and this REALLY warms my heart. i don't think i could ever handle caring for a 'too, i have nothing but respect for you and all other 'too owners.

I have a special place for that Moluccan. A few years ago, I went into a petstore and really handn't handled too many birds. I saw a Moluccan out with the worker and petted him. (the bird not the worker. ) Before I knew what happened, he had crawled on my arm, was laughing, walked up my shoulder, bent over and had his/her head snuggled up under my chin and purred like a CAT!!
I was like, OMG< here's my credit card. STOP MARK>...get a hold of yourself.

That last picture is classic. Your M2 looks like one beautiful bird (um...I might be a tad partial to those molly's!). Gee...all your birds look terrific!

Thank you for the wonderful comments. The 'Too's are very special guys .... and yes, it takes someone special to be owned by a 'Too. They are the snugglers of the bird world ... but are also the most unpredictable and will scream non-stop for hours. Sam, my Umbrella is my velcro bird. He will hunt me down until he finds me and if he had his way, he'd be in my arms 24/7 . I also have scars from his bites LOL. We actually had made arrangements to send Cookie to a Moluccan Sanctuary when we first rescued her from being sold at a flea market. Luckily for us, the sanctuary took 4 months before they were able to take her. We fell in love and she strongly bonded with Sam, so she stayed. Hedwig is our clown. When people first see our birds they're drawn to the macaws because of their size and beautiful colors. By the time they leave, every person falls in love with Hedwig and wants to take him home. He's got personality plus and loves everyone. We were very lucky he's not a plucker because of the abuse and neglect he suffered before coming to us. Sorry for rambling on LOL. 'Too's are the most abused, neglected and thrown away birds because not many people can tolerate them. Not many do their research before bringing one home.
