We have a lovely little G2 named Sheela. The G2 are somewhat diff from the other 2's we have, and there is one thing that Sheela does that I just love. When she gets excited, she sort of marches bouncing up and down from one foot to the other. She does it on her perch, on the side of the cage, on the water bowl - anywhere and everywhere. I've seen other G2's do this march, but was wondering if anyone elses G2 does the marching?

How cute and how fun. I love Goffins. I don't own one yet but would love to have one someday. Did you see my post a week or so ago titled "Another Dean Martin Fan"? It was a Goffins dancing, maybe marching like what you just described. If you go back into the cockatoo forum you'll see it.

My dog, Corbin, his vet is rehoming his Goffins and has been in touch with me over the past 3 months. The clinic and I will be working on rehoming him. I can't wait to experience the joy of getting to know this little guy.

Mimi does that kinda bounce up and down up and down when gets really excited and happy! Not so much on different feet but a whole body thing up and down. Its really cute like a dance!!!

Sheela actually marches! One foot up and then the other. Up and down, up and down. She does it on and on for several minutes. She loves to march when she is happy or excited.
