I have just been beside myself with worry as I was told the lady I adopted 2 M2s (Charlie & Sydney) to had to give up Charlie. I was just mortified and was having nightmares, I had no way to get ahold of her and I was told she sold them. Charlie & Sydney are both just wonderful, but when we moved we had no way to get them here, my husband and I cried for a very long time after we handed them over.
I am shooting to go to Florida next weekend if not sooner to pick them up...
O M G I can hardly stand it. THANK GOD they are both Ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am wso happy for you, I know that was hard you both! They are both absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Did she sell them or did she not? Just curious if you had to track them down. Wish I could go with you, I have family and friends there LOL!!! And it is warm!!!!!!!

No she didn't sell her but she did give her away. It took me a couple of weeks to get the whole story and I've been nuts over it. I found out the truth today.

Thanks all....we had to adopt out several birds when we moved from FL to NJ we just couldn't take them all, when I started with the rescue that was the idea to bring them in and adopt them out, but we got so attached, after hurricane Charly we were upto I believe it was 26 birds at once. When we moved brought Meko (she is a plucker) Itty Bitty as Meko and her are buds & Lei as we got her with Itty. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Since we've been here we have Scarlett with us. I would like to restart here in NJ however we don't have the room at the moment and you really have to jump through alot of hoops to do so.
We moved 1 and 1/2 years ago. I was just in FL in Nov. - Dec and all was well with them, things went downhill quick.

Looks like I will be heading to Fl on Friday (have a vet appt in afternoon) and coming back on Sunday. Now I just need to get a cage for them when they get back, Im thinking the double macaw.
GOD I pray they are not in bad shape,,,I was just there so I can or try not to imagine what could have happened to them since.
Pleasee pray for them.

That really sucks Wendy! I am glad you are getting them back though, and hope that they aren't any worse for wear. If anything, they'll be happy to be back with their mama again. Have a safe trip also, if you come through Savannah, wave hello to us!
