3 times- GSD was hit by a semi and had to get pins and rods in his hips and front leg, and then our mini dachshund suddenly went paralyzed in the middle of the night so she had emergency surgery there as well. Both of these were many many years ago and both dogs are completely healthy- no mobility issues at all.

Ollie had a well check there a year or so ago. I was pleased with everything, except that they tried to convince me I shouldn't go back with Ollie. I did, and they were great with her. I think Sunny is in great hands!

We're going to see Sunny around 7 this evening.... The vet sees some improvement, and what's to see if we see the same thing.

We're excited to see her....but it's so hard at the same time.

Glad you've had good luck with Vet Med. That is one thing that somewhat bother-some how they don't really let you go with them in the back. Yesterday, they were pretty easy with letting us go in back, which we both appreciated.

We get to go see Sunny in a little bit, we're excited. This has been one of the longest, worst weekends we've ever had! Hope things start going uphill!

Things are looking a little better. When we got there, the student told us that Sunny was starting to act tired again. When she saw us, she really perked up, and then acted like she needed to go to the bathroom, suddenly a soft-shelled egg came out. Sunny acted 20 times better after that came out. It was very up-lifting to see her acting happy again, stretching and grooming herself.

The Doctor is wondering if there may be another egg or two inside of her, so they are still planning on x-rays tomorrow.

We feel a little better now, hoping that everything goes well with her tomorrow. We've been so worried! Tommy (our other cockatiel) has been pretty upset with Sunny being gone.

How is she doing today?

Hey everyone, this is Kimberly this time. We just got a call and Sunny seems to be doing better than yesterday! They said she looks brighter than she did yesterday. They already did bloodwork on her this morning and said she handled that well. We're supposed to get the results this afternoon. They're also planning on doing an xray sometime this morning. They mentioned Sunny possibly getting to come home tomorrow if everything looks ok! We're going to see her at 5 today. Things are starting to look brighter! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
