Default Mama's girl too...

I always say how Lulu is Daddy's little girl - and she is. But she also loves her Mama too!! I don't have as many stories about her because, well, she's just so easy going and GOOD! The boys are always up to some crazy antics and she's such a good natured little girl and always pleasant to be around. She gets a little huffy, girly attitude occasionally, but those moods are always over so quickly.

Dave was out of town for a few days and I do cherish those days when I have the baby girl all to myself. And she really showed her affection towards me every day while he was gone, which makes me feel good of course She was clingy while Dave was gone, wanting to be on me most of the time. If I was in another room she would fly to me and seek me out.

I just adore her, my little Princess Lulu:

She's such a doll! That's just the best- when they fly to you just because they want to be with you!

No problem, I love their big gym and so do they. It is from GreyFeather Toys - they are pricey but the quality is REALLY good and it's very safe (no exposed screws or hardware, it's all wood). It was actually a Christmas present from my inlaws this past year (my husband knew that I had been drooling over their gyms ).

Here are pics with it all decked out with toys, it has lots of places to hang toys, and in the above picture I hadn't put toys on it yet for the night:

Lulu is so pretty! Does she make much noise? Sydney, (Our female tiel) is our quietest bird. She rarely makes noise and even when she does if you're not in the same room with her- it would probably be hard to hear her! She's also one of our sweetest birds - anyone in the house can hold her and pet her.

Love the gym! I've often thought about getting one. Birdgymsrus Has the same gyms (only a bit cheaper) and several different levels. If I only had somewhere to put one!

Lulu is fairly quiet - she doesn't contact call often, but when she does she can be loud. She contact calls when we come home, and we call back to her to say hi and she doesn't continue much after that. She does scream if we're late covering her and putting her to bed - I always hear stories of everyone's birds not wanting to go to bed but my girl definitely screams and lets us know that she's ready for bed She also sometimes screams when we leave the house and calls for us to come back and I can hear her from outside the house with the windows closed. But the screaming doesn't last long.

She sings a little, but not too often, mostly in the early afternoon. But her "singing" sounds like an off-key teenage boy going through puberty I love my little girl but she has a very awkward voice LOL. The only English words she says are Pretty Bird and even that's in a pretty shaky and off-key voice.

She's not nearly as constantly vocal as the boys who chatter allll day long - and they both make cockatiel contact calls and noises but they don't have the volume that Lulu has.
