IMPE, when females are vocal because they are hormonal and want a mate (it's the only reference I have as all my other hens have always been as quiet as nuns in church), they just repeat a call over and over and over, like quick-quick-quick-quick, there isn't the different notes of the male call.

That don`t sound to bad, I`am looking to get one would like white or latino. They are harder to sex , but if it`s the one one that is more quit might be what I want. NOt in any big herry making sure.

Brian does the quick-quick noise all the time actually. I mean he doesn't only do that but there is not really a massive amount of "tune" to his singing. The only thing I was going by was that he is extremely loud and vocal a lot. Who knows, maybe he is a girl!
