Bless your heart for taking them. It will never stop as long as some live in a disposable world. Will you nurse them back to health then find homes for them?. Poor little things.

Are they still plucking each other? Have you separated them by sex?

Oh My - the plucked little heads & necks are heartbreaking.

Have you been successful at re-homing any?

Do people think this is normal? Was it because of over-crowding?

Thanks for replying - I do remember now that you said you were separating them.

This breeder told me they had 100 teils,I don't know how they housed them, but It just pisses me off to see birds in this condition,They are so dirty skinny and have colds.and the one picture of the Lutino on the bottom of the cage, this is the one who can't climb or perch her legs both curl in.

oh those poor lil sweeties the one in the 6th picture covered in dropping is how the two I have well one now came to me the poop covered them from below the head to the end of the nubs the prior owner called a tail. the wings were so caked they were so ragged they dropped to the ground if they tried to fly. What I did when working with them was give them good mistings of aloe juice and water a few times a day even added some of the aloe juice into thier morning water. The misting help dramatically. I hope you find some really loving homes for all these babies. Peoples ignorance on the care for thier pets amazes me. Thank you for what you do.

WTF is wrong with people??? I'm sure the breeder saw them as easy money.. everyone knows cockatiels are targeted as starter birds. How completely awful!!

Are their chances of rehoming very good?
