    Default Ahhhh, camera!!

Well I was trying to get some shots of Brian today, and I though I would try some video with my mums camera. Well, turns out he doesn't like my mums camera too much lol. However it did mean I got some footage of him flying, but he's so damn quick it was hard to follow him. When he was back in his cage he seemed fine with the camera, just not out in the open! Anyway here it is, it's not that long:

It was supposed to be in HD but uploading it to photobucket seems to have ruined the quality a bit.

Ahhh - He's adorable! Nice big flying space for him too.

Not bad for the 1st effort.
I too could use a better camera - in fact my son has a video camera we bought him last summer & I can use it. I only used it once - didn't know what I was doing & haven't had any time since to try again [or opportunity].

Wait till Gayla & Sarah see your set of HP [I know 'cause we have one too] - big fans here. - nice Tiel landing area.

I'd love to see some of Bow and Rio! If you can get the camera working anyway

Yes the books seem to be a favourite landing spot, you should see the mess up there now! I'm sure next time I go to read them I will discover the pages have been ripped out lol.

I love his colour! So pretty! He sure looks happy to be flying around . Piper was calling to him when he was calling, and Mickey had his face pressed through the cage bars, looking right at the computer .

As for the HP collection, I am so envious! Mum's getting the collection for me this Christmas, and I'm going to be getting the movies when they've finished and bring out the box-set. I still prefer the books, though, definitely a reader here!

First, I just love that his name is Brian...LOL I giggle everytime I see it. I love animals with people names....lol

I noticed the HP books right off. LOL I have all the UK editions in hard back. Plus the Deathly Hallows in regular hardback & the limited edition. Plus I have all the UK books on CD, plus the US books on CD. The difference is the UK books have a different cover, more adult I guess, and the original British slang words which were changed in the US editions. Either way I love me some Harry Potter. July 17th my Potter Heads. New movie.

Anyway, back to Brian....LOL love that name. He is a cutie. Looked like he was playing catch me if you can with you...LOL

Oh yes we like the catch me if you can game in this house. Oh no sorry, correction - Brian likes the catch me if you can game. Glad you like his name!

I didn't know the covers were different. Were the british ones black with just a photo on the front? They made some like that over here for adults for when they're on the train and stuff so they didn't look like they were reading children's books lol.

Great video - it was very interesting seeing how he flies because it's slightly different than Lulu (regarding turns mainly). Lulu does these crazy banking turns but it looks like Brian can make sharper turns. It's not that I'm surprised by different flight styles even within the same species, but it's fun to compare and contrast - and basically I don't get to see many other cockatiels in flight. Jerry and Winston have different flight styles, due to their history and backgrounds I'd guess. And Lulu had a hard time with flight in the beginning.

And I didn't even notice the HP stuff - I was busy watching Brian

Brian is a nippy little fella. Maybe Lulu doesn't want to risk trying anything if she was a little shaky to start with. Brian has flown his whole life so I guess he's picked up some little tricks when he was learning . I think he must have been brought up by a hummingbird as if he flies towards something he is able to stop before hitting it, hover in midair, turn around and carry on flying lol.

Do you have any videos of Lulu flying? I'd love to see if you do! *hint hint* I love watching birds in flight.
