Yeah, he is very special. He also has really pretty shoulder tuffs. You can't really see it, but they are yellow and red. I guess the hahns coloring is dominant. But I think he said that some come out with red heads, so I guess each bird is different, unless he will get more coloring as he gets older and molts, I am not sure. My guess is as good as everone elses. I was surprised not to see more yellow and reds like his dad, but like I said, I guess moms genes are more dominant.

Even though I do not agree with the mix breeding, I do find him very pretty.

Thanks guys, he is a cutie. And yes, I totally agree, I do not think that anybody should be mixing breeds. I took Solo in as a rehome. He has never had real loving human contact, he was even parent fed, but we are working with him and he is coming aroung a little at a time. I definitely think with time, he is going to become a true love bug. He was even in the horrible small cage and the night we brought him home, I went up on craigs list and found a wonderful, huge cage and brought it home the next day and now he is so happy!! He didn't even have any toys. It was sad. Well, he is 2 years old and now he will have a wonderful life with us.

He is pretty although I too don't agree with hybrids. The posture seems very sun especially the pose on the curtain and walking on the cage door.
