More talking!

Everytime Doyle learns to say something new I am always amazed and think that it has to be the last thing because I had always heard that conures weren't big talkers. I am curious to find out what your conures can say?

Doyle says-
Doyle
Doy Doy
Step Up
Good Boy
Cooper (dog's name)
Evan (only said it a couple of times though)
Hey Doyle
Hello
What
-He also does a mix of these phrases, just now he said "Doyle Step Up, Step Up Doyle"

Danny-
Just whistles at himself in his food bowls, lol.

Obviously Ollie isn't a conure, but I had to laugh with your mention of combining phrases. That is Ollie's newest thing! She can go on for about a minute like this: "Hello Ollie, Ollie, Oll, step up, up girl, step up girl, good girl, good ollie girl, peek a poopers, hi poopers, up poopers..." It is just hilarious!

Jerry is huge on combining phrases as well, and he does it in a way that makes sense (usually - the other night he said "Hey Mister B!tch!).

LOL - He picked up the bad word because one of our cats is nicknamed B!tchy B - and it's his favorite cat and he talks to her and about her all the time (and he NEVER calls her by her real name, Josie - but he does have a thing for B words, so that might explain it...). And I call him Mister Jerry, Mister Budgie, etc. and he decided to make a new combination on that!
