I just thought I'd take a minute and brag on how well Danny is doing! I am so proud of him, you just have no idea!

Anyways for the first time since we got him about 6 months ago he is using his feet! I saw him pick up a block of wood to chew on! His feet were always very unsteady and he didn't perch very well and he NEVER picked up anything with his feet. And he had an ankle injury a few months ago on top of all that.

I know it doesn't seem like much but to me it shows how much healthier he is becoming! And just the fact that he is playing with a toy is huge also. Ahh I love that little guy!

LOL! Yeah right! Maybe my husband, he doesn't like me to touch him, he freaks out.

That's fantastic! He really has come a long way, you should be very proud! This gives me hope that Winston's feet will strengthen as well.

Is he any friendlier with you?

He is alot better than when he first came home, but for the most part he really dislikes me. I'm okay with it though, I don't push him. He adores my husband and he likes me from a distance. It is so strange because he likes when I come up and talk to him but if I put my hands up anywhere around his cage he gets VERY defensive and upset. Maybe with time he will allow me to touch him or maybe even step up for me. But either way I am just happy that he is happy.

And I will have to get some new pics up this week.
